Betrayal

Betrayal is a critically acclaimed play written by famous English playwright Harold Pinter in 1978. The play revolves around the complex and tangled relationships of three British characters as it slips the audience back in time from 1977 to 1968.

Sound design had heavy lifting to do in the form of relaying to the audience the play’s reversed chronological order. This challenge helped expose me to the vibrant world of abstract storytelling: how could I relay this narrative information through sound?
